WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP GRANTS NOW OPEN

State Member for Richmond, Richard Wynne, said local councils and non-profit community organisations could benefit from a new women’s leadership grants program, launched by Premier John Brumby at the 10th Premier’s Women’s Summit in Melbourne last week.
“Grants between $2000 and $20,000 are available, to build women’s leadership skills and increase diversity among Victoria’s female leaders.” Read more
$28.5 MILLION TO HELP RESTORE VICTORIAN CATCHMENTS
The protection of threatened plants and animals, volcanic plains and valuable ecosystems are among the projects to be tackled by Victoria’s Catchment Management Authorities (CMA) using $28.5 million in Brumby Labor Government funding. Read more
