I would like to thank all of the many local people who worked so hard on my campaign, donating their time and resources, to ensure that I can represent the people of Richmond District in our State Parliament for another term. And it is the people of Richmond District that I would like to thank the most; for having trust in me to continue delivering for our community.

It was a hard won campaign – fought on local issues, the performance of the Bracks Labor Government and the approval by the electorate of this local member’s ability to deliver when it matters. I commend the other significant candidates, Gurm and Maina, for running clean and earnest campaigns: democracy is at the heart of our work for the community.
